For the 2021/22 cohort, the PG Diploma in Innovation through Design Thinking Students were asked to work in teams and use design thinking to solve the following challenge:

Assessment Task
For the presentation assessment task, students were required to:
- Pitch their team’s solution, in a pre-recorded video, consisting of 3-5 minutes, to the design challenge to the Dragon’s Den in the Design Event.
- Present the design journey for the team in a compelling, logical and coherent manner.
- Refer to each stage of the design process and key iteration points (Understand, Observe, Point of View, Ideate, Prototype and Test).
- Highlight application of the D3 Literacies of design, data and digital during the design process.
