Getting Started

After entering Blender, the following interface will be displayed first. You can create a new file or open an existing file.

The Blender interface mainly consists of: a menu bar at the top, a toolbar on the left (where you can select different tools), a scene collection (such as various objects) and a properties bar (used to adjust the properties of various objects) on the right, a timeline (used to create animations, not covered in this tutorial) at the bottom, and a main work area in the centre.

Each area can be freely laid out and replaced with other panels.
